![]() Your rifle was manufactured in the period Jan-March 1906, and would have been dispatched from the factory during the period Jan -July 1906, and as said above this third batch comprised mostly standard length 43.25" 'H' The Lincolns and shorter Ladies length 'L' The Lincoln Rifles. As soon as that arrangement was signed, the fate of the 'H' The Lincoln Air Rifle was sealed. BSA had much greater manufacturing capability than LIncoln Jeffries had himself so on the face of it seemed logical, however BSA also agreed to produce and market an exact same gun under their own brand name in competition. You rifle is part of the third batch of approximately 1000 guns made by BSA for Lincoln Jeffries under his own brand, as per a business arrangement, whereby Lincoln Jeffries approached BSA in order to produce his gun. or to name it correctly an 'H' The Lincoln Air Rifle, or an 'L' The Lincoln Air Rifle. Your gun is indeed an a Lincoln Jeffries Air Rifle.
